SECTION V:  NOMINATIONS AND ELECTIONS

 

Section 5.01 -- Nominations of Directors.  Any member may nominate any other member to be a director with the express permission of that nominee.  Individuals are also invited to nominate themselves.  The period of nomination will be from 1 November through 30 November.  At that time, nominees are requested to submit a one paragraph personal statement to be included with the ballot to be received no later than 10 December.

 

Section 5.02 -- Elections.  Ballots will be distributed by email or via www.mcfscoh.orgwebsite via survey as available or mailed as necessary.  All ballot responses whether by email, web survey, or mail must be received no later than 5 January at midnight EST.

 

Section 4.01 -- Board of Directors.  The Board of Directors shall consist of five individuals from among the registered membership of MCFSC.

A)    Term of Service. Three Directors will serve a term of two years and two Directors will serve a term of one year beginning on 1 January and ending on 31 December. The three elected Directors receiving the most votes will fill the two-year terms.  The first election following the approval of these by-laws shall be January 2008 at which time 2 two-year terms and 1 one-year term positions will be filled
